Maintenance schedules and maintenance logs are often one of those things that takes up loads of space but vary rearly gets used. It takes time to update them and even longer to try and report on them. Trying to keep track of schedules for hardware inspection and testing, or even room recoration is something can mean several spreadsheet type systems all being used to record the same information.

Imagine having all that information in one central location accessible not only to one person but maybe unlimited numbers of people. Being able to produce job worksheets for the day, week, month etc* and being able to hand them to your staff, with all the required information ready for them.

PAT Testing schedules of electrical equipment, equipment safety checks, audits, maintenance, all takes time and has to be planned. Let the system do it for you, simply add the vital information to an asset and sit back, you have told it for example that your PAT Testing is due in 12 months time, in 12 months time, it will appear on a job sheet.

Not only can you schedule work, but also record vital warrenty and maintenance information. Imagine that a member of staff phones you and asks if a certain PC is still in warrenty because it has brokendown. Normally this will mean a good half an hour or longer finding the purchase order, recepit of delivery, checking if there is a maintenance agreement, contacting the service technicians. Thats a lot of work!

Now imagine this, asking the person on the phone for the asset number of the PC, entering this into the system, then being able to say; yes it is under a service agreement, please contact Adam on 012345 678965 to book a service technician. Job done, an hours work has now turned into a minutes work.
